May 2020

City Organizer: Sarah Morris
Video made by: Walter Petrichyn

In celebration of the Jane’s Walk weekend (May 1-3, 2020), I made a video where I take several quotes from Jane Jacobs’ 1961 “The Death and Life of Great American Cities” and I use them to talk about buildings, parks, and bicycle lanes in Windsor, Ontario. All photographs in the video were taken by me unless I mention otherwise! If you want to see some other local history work I have done, check out my podcast Life in a Border Town: lifeinabordertown.simplecast.com
