Dams, Mills, and Tracks (OH MY!)

There is a reason that Windsor is located where it is. From the beginning, the power of Mill Brook was central to business in Windsor. This walk will start at the dam and proceed down stream to track the mill footings and foundations under the concrete arch bridge on Main Street.

This is an opportunity for those interested in the history of the brook to share their knowledge of the mills and better understand how the all fit together to make Windsor what it is today. We will see the recent repairs and improvements to the dam, and walk around the mill area with an eye toward understanding how the mills worked.
