Florianópolis is an island in South Brazil. In June, 2013 we created the collective Caminhada Jane Jacobs and started organizing the first Jane’s Walks in Brazil. There have been eight of them so far.

Arquiteto e urbanista e apaixonado pelo cotidiano da cidade. É doutor em arquitetura e urbanismo na USP com período de 2 anos em Nova Iorque na Columbia University, onde desenvolveu sua tese tendo como foco as apropriações coletivas do espaço público em Nova Iorque e Curitiba. É professor de urbanismo e projeto da paisagem na PUCPR. Coautor do livro “Diálogo sobre a cidade – entre filosofia, arquitetura e urbanismo”.
