Discover Oshawa, One Step at a Time!

We are excited to lead a Jane’s Walk in the City of Oshawa. In the City of great history and innovation, we recognize the importance of observing our urban surroundings. Jane Jacobs was an urban thinker who concentrated on community-based city planning. Her ideas have inspired thousands to lead Jane’s Walks to explore cities and share stories and experiences.

Jane’s Walk in Oshawa offers an opportunity to connect with the past, present, and future of our community. Through guided walks led by local volunteers, we’ll uncover hidden histories, celebrate diverse voices, and spark meaningful conversations about how we shape our city.

This initiative is lead by the partnership of the local planning and engineering firm D.G. Biddle and Associates and the planning staff of the City of Oshawa.
